Resumo:
One of the biggest challenges of the twenty-first century education is the pursuit of
the act of reading and learns to be. Every human being should be prepared to take a
criticai view of life, and may formulate their own judgments, develop skills of
discernment and action in different circumstances of life. Therefore, to develop a
quality education, several factors contribute to this success. One is reading,
considered as a means to acquire knowledge between teacher and student. So,
encouraging reading regards: advising, criticizing, probing, reflecting, developing
learning and teaching quality, and even change the direction and the direction of
lives.ln order to address various theories and theories on the subject of reading
centered on the permission as social action is not passive act, requires a
multidisciplinary approach due to the various facets of the dynamic process of the act
of reading. I used the narrative research method, showing the course of this work
some of my design on my reading and teaching experience. Addressing the theme of
reading as social action rather than passive act requires a multidisciplinary approach,
