O ensino para as relações étnico-raciais na educação infantil.

Abstract

This production seeks to contribute to the understanding of the importance of working with the ethnic-racial relations already in childhood, having as its object of study the teaching to the ethnic-racial relations in early childhood education and, as overall goal, analyze how it has been implemented the teaching to the ethnic-racial relations in early childhood education.Therefore, research has basis in some theorists such as KabengueleMunanga (2004), ElianeCavalleiro (2010), Clovis Moura (1988), among others who encouraged discussions about the ethnic-racial relations that were detailed to Early Childhood Education. To delimit the discussion of the analysis regarding the Education for Ethnic and Race Relations research outlined in the following specific objectives: To characterize the conceptions of early childhood education teachers about the Racial-Ethnic Relations and its overlapping in the formative processes in the childhood education, in the early years; Identify the planning elements and content related to education for Racial-Ethnic practices developed in early childhood education; Check for situations of prejudice and eventually as they are being worked on these issues everyday in the classroom.This, on the basis of the processes of human development, understood here, the Early Childhood Education. From this scope were woven proceduralizing search through a semi-structured interview, bibliographic research and qualitative approach of investigation.Respondents were six teachers of Early Childhood Education an important municipal school in the city of Bom Jesus-PB. As the main results this study came to the conclusion that it is still necessary to foster debate on the teaching of ethnic-racial relations more systematically, both in school systems and in the schools themselves, in order to show that the discussion about the relationship ethnic-racial is the key to reducing and even overcoming inequalities be they social, racial, cultural, or ideological that impede the humanization process and possible construction of a world with better foundations for social justice.
