Resumo:
lncreasing the consumption of diets of cafcteria for young women of reproductive age.The
malemal diet in the first trimester of pregnancy is very important for the development and
differentiation of various fetal organs. Polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 (AGPI ro-3)and
Omega 6 (AGPT ro-6) stand out for having beneficiai affects to human health , including
pregnancy period. Significant amounts of AGPJ are found in safflower oi! and has been used
during pregnancy and lactation dueto the presence ofthe omegas in its constitution. This way
the objective of this work was to evaluate the behavioral effects of pups from female mouse
subjected to a diet of cafeteria during pregnancy and Jactation supplemented with safflower
oi!. Primiparous females,Wistar mouses, with 90 days of life and weight of250 ±50 g were
used to obtain the pups .Four groups were formed for the female mouses: a control group
receiving standard diet and distilled water ; Obesity group receiving diet of cafeteria and
distilled water by gavage , the Obesity group + Samower receiving the diet of cafeteria and
safflower oil and the control group +safflower, receiving the standard diet and safflower oil.
After weaning. the litters were standardized to 8 groups, and again were formed four groups
according to thc mothers , group (Group C) , the Obesity Group (Group OB) ,Obesity Group
+ Safllower (Group OB +CT) ,(Group C+CT) .Were carried out two tests: the test of open
field and the maze test in high cross. Among the parameters analyzed in the pen field test , the
number of variation and the amount of lift in obesity and Obesity + Safllower was lower
when compared to the control group and the control group+ Safflower .The Obesity Group
had greater self-cleaning time when compared to the control group and Controi+Safflower
(P<0,05)and was no diffcrence between the groups for the parameter of defecation. The test
of the mazc at high cross , the Obesity group + Saffiower also entered more times in with
open arms, compared to the Obesity group (P <0, 05), but also stayed longer in with open
arms . Alrcady in the arms closed, lhe Obesity group cntered less when compared to other
groups and there was no difference in the group for the time parameters in the arms closedand
time in the central area. Therefore, this work demonstrated that consumption of the diet of
cafeteria during pregnancy and lactation decreased locomotor activit} /exploratory,causing a
ansiogênico ctTect in the ofTspring in the test CA and that supplementation with saffiower oil
provoked an anxiolytic in testing the ICE.
