Resumo:
This work is a provisional result of ongoing research on the theme of Public Policies for Secondary Education, especially Integral Education in the state network of Pernambuco. The objective of this work is to comprehend the implantation processes in the education of Integral High School in Pernambuco and to make an analysis of the strategies developed between students of the rural zone of the School of Reference in High School Olavo Bilac-EREMOB and how it is understood the teaching of Sociology by them. The work is justified by acting as a high school teacher in a public school in the Pernambuco countryside, in the Comprehensive Reference School Program. Methodologically, the work starts from a bibliographic review between articles and dissertations by authors such as Gentili e Silva (1996), Giron (2008), Payre and Pollet (2010), Cavaliere (2009), Gadotti (2009) and Costa (2001 and 2008), in addition to interviews, a quantitative-qualitative data analysis will be carried out, with 32 (thirty two) living in rural areas who study at school, in the urban center of the city of Sertânia-PE. These interviews will be conducted through questionnaires sent to students over the internet (Google Forms, e-mail and / or through the WhatsApp application), due to the pandemic of COVID-19, with the purpose of identifying which strategies, challenges and limits are based on point of view of these students on the methodology and learning of Sociology offered by Integral Education and the strategies to overcome educational inequalities. It appears, initially, that only the extension of the school journey, does not include a Comprehensive Education of the subject, needing to promote learning in a meaningful way, proposing the expansion of opportunities and the acquisition of knowledge in several areas.
