Resumen:
Educatíon ís a human's achíevement face to the educational systems of each country. The
Projovem Campo "Saberes da Terra" is a educational program for young people and family
farmers at a fundamental levei, within the Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) modality,
integrated with social and professional qualification. The objective ofthe present study was to
develop with the students of thís project methodologies that, integrated with their previous
knowledge, could facilitate the leaming in the classroom in a school in the District of Melo
(Cuité-PB). It was a qualitative study, with the purpose of analyzing the possible social and
transformational impacts. Tbe subjects of tbe research were the students of the Escola
Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Domiciano de Queiroz (first moment: n = 12, second
moment: n = 09) in the Distrito do Melo. The total period of activities was from February
2015 to December 2016. As for the data collection, two questionnaires were app1ied on the
subject to be researched. Finally, the data obtained were analyzed and worked as tables
(qualitative results) and also as percentage frequencies (quantitative results), shown in graphs.
Among those who participated in the first stage (n - 12), we observed that the majority
(66.67%) were of the masculine gender. When questioned about how they ranked the topics
covered in the classroom, 41.67% rated the content as good. All the interviewees showed
positive perceptions about the program in which they were inserted. Extracurricular activities
include the production ofregionalliqueurs, fruitjams produced by the community, production
o f com cake and the production o f cleaning materiais. The students showed total interest in an
education model that included the socio-environmental reality in which they are inserted. We
believe that more in-depth and ongoing interventions are essential to the establishment of
rural man in rural cornmunities.
