Resumen:
This work presents the design and implementation of virtual instruments with
low cost and high degree of accuracy, to be used in introductory power quality
studies, as well as testing of magnetic materials. In application related to power
quality, the instrument has the functions of oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and
transient recorder. In applying the tests related to magnetic materials, the
functions are: hysteresigraph dedicated to measuring losses in magnetic
materials. The developed instruments are capable of displaying all the results on
the computer screen and also generate files with documentation of
measurements. The instrument dedicated to testing magnetic materials is also
capable of generating signals to control other devices. Throughout this
dissertation, were developed a set of hardware and software developed in
LabVIEW language, for the acquisition and processing of data resulting from
measurements.
