Resumo:
The emergence of devices capable of providing its services in local networks and the
Internet has led to the development of protocols that allow the user to discover and
use these services. Among the Service Discovery Protocols, UPnP enables devices that
implement its specification to connect to the network and make their services available to
a user or other UPnP devices. In environments with a large number of services available,
the user may have difficulties to find the service that is really important for him among
many available. The Recommender Systems are designed to help the user to deal with
a large number of options available, the recommendations are based on historical of use
of the system from user or users with similar tastes. This work proposes an architecture
for the use of Recommender Systems to enable recommendation of services in networks
based on UPnP technology.
