Resumen:
This dissertation presents the description of the development of one Acquisition and
Process Electronic System for Biosensores that use SPR principle. The proposed system
offers one alternative totally portable to the current commercial equipments existent.
The VIR bio-chip is used to compose the sensitive surface, offering maintenance advantages
and easiness of change of the surface. The developed system uses one dual core
processor OMAP1510 to accomplish the processing of the acquired sign, and to execute
the user interface. One electronic circuit was developed to excite the SPR effect, to
acquire the image sign, to control the laser current and temperature. An interface with
the user was developed to offer analysis resources and processing of the obtained sign,
beyond of allowing the control the instrument set points. This turns the system flexible
and suitable to be used as research tool. The developed system was applied to design a
new technique of BSA binding proteins analysis. Through the analysis of the morphology
of the SPR curve, with the measurement of the resonance line broadening parameter and
line asymmetry, it was shown that is possible to analyze reversible and irreversible BSA
binding in the formation of the protecting layer.
