Resumen:
The work aims to reflect on the professional work of the social worker in health policy,
in the face of cases of violence against children and adolescents. The research was
carried out using the bibliographic review technique, which included bibliographies
based on aspects concerning the specific discussion on the proposed theme, divided
into two chapters. We note the professional work of the social worker with
repercussions on health, in the face of cases of violence against children and
adolescents. For these subjects, their peculiar rights and needs were not born
overnight, nor did they follow a linearity, they only occurred during the process of sociocultural transformations. In view of the violence suffered by children and adolescents,
it was possible to bring the professional practice of the social worker closer together,
thus reaffirming the demand for excellence throughout their work process, when one
of the challenges posed to the practice of this professional is to apprehend the links
that involve different expressions of the social issue, including the various
manifestations of violence. In view of the numerous repercussions of violence in the
lives of children and adolescents, it is essential to promote the consolidation of a
network that integrates various professionals and services, with a chance of finding
balance in the task organizations, with an inclusive and harmonious integration among
those involved. to reach a humanization process. The State must also be responsible
for the social issue in the face of this prolific, understanding the differences between
Social Work as a profession and public policy as the responsibility of the State and
governments.
