Résumé:
The research focused on the treatment of illegal Latin American immigrants on the
borders with the United States of America, observing the situation experienced by them
in the light of human rights. The study was based on reports on the displacement of these
refugee people, from the context of the colonization of the North American country and
envisioned cooperation between nations and the approach of these people given over the
years to the contemporary context. Guided by normative principles and instruments based
on human rights, the research was carried out with the purpose of showing and discussing
those that occur in illegal migrations and demonstrating that there is an abusive rigidity
regarding the entry into the territory of American rights and little observance of respect
for human rights. American rights and little observance of respect for US human rights
and participation in treatment aimed at protecting those rights. The method chosen and
used was the deductive, in a qualitative and quantitative approach, where he studied the
general character of the migratory phenomenon until it arrived, specifically, in the
migration within the American territory and its consequences for human rights. The
bibliographic research used was based on books, articles and global news on the topic and
for the purposes of this research, several national and international normative instruments
for the protection of migrants around the world were used. And finally, we sought to
suggest that the most effective means of regulating the issue to alleviate problematic
contingencies and thus prevent border conflicts and hold government entities that do not
act in accordance with the observance of human rights and the principles of international
law.
