Abstract:
In the present study we mainly consider the application of string theory and conformal
eld theory in order to make a microscopic description of black holes or more precisely of Kerr-de Sitter spaces in three dimensions. Those spaces are asymptotically de Sitter or anti-de-Sitter three dimensional spaces (dS3/AdS3), which have equivalent description in a two dimensional conformal eld theory (CFT2). In the last part of the of this study, we consider the embedding of those solutions in four dimensions through a 2-brane. We note that in the regime in what the four-dimensional gravity is dominant, we can establish a correspondence between the entropy of those three dimensional spaces and the entropy of a Schwarzschild black hole in four dimensions.
