Abstract:
This report presents the results of the activities performed in a supervised internship held
in Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory Control (LIEC). The major activity was
the development and construction of a self-guided vehicle, so that it can be used by the
laboratory for future projects. It consists of the presentation of the automatic driving
vehicle studies in general, including models of different manufacturer, the physical and
technical principles of each sensor and actuator used, the implemented systems and the
tests performed on each system. The engine activation’s system, encoders’ read system,
track identification’s system, obstacle identification’s system and wireless communication
system were implemented.
