Resumo:
The objective was to analyze the perception of E.M.E.I.E.F.
Cecília Estolano Meireles on Contextualized Environmental Education and for
Coexistence with the Brazilian Semiarid Region. The survey was conducted in 2017
with thirty 9th grade students from a public school in CajazeirasPB, adopting
as a research method the qualiquantitative approach, being the data
obtained through the application of questionnaires and analyzed by the technique of
content analysis. With the results, it was evident that the way the
teaching has been developed in that school does not allow a complex look
about the reality of the region, limiting itself, in a superficial way, to the questions
environmental information about climate, vegetation, water situation, as well as
distancing itself from the Sustainable Coexistence relationship with the environment.
