Resumo:
Cultural History has given us the opportunity to investigate new trends which have been arising in Clio territories. Thus, the main objective of this dissertation is to analyze the therapeutic process developed in Masses of Healing and Deliverance conducted in the capital of the state of Paraíba from 1995 to 2019. A theoretical-methodological approach was used to analyze the basic discursive processes applied to the rituals of healing and deliverance in the Mass through a diversity of utterances and tools that comprise those worships, being fundamental the use of oral sources from interviews together with the Bible extracts, photos, biographies of priests, and initial rites of the masses. The bibliography of this study included authors´ views such as those of Foucault (Discourse Analysis and Archeology), Deleuze (Folds and Desiring Bodies), Larrosa (Experience), Lipovetsky (Spectacularization and Void), and Guatarri (Cartography). Our survey shows that these worships concern people´s needs and desires, besides producing micro-policies responsible for therapeutical experiences which build self-care and existential
aesthetics that arises from faith and brings meaning to their lives despite sickness and suffering.
