Resumo:
The present work presents a study about the profile of a former student of EJA, from
the city of Cuité-PB. An interview was conducted, in which the interviewee narrates
her experiences, pointing out the reasons that led her to drop out of school and what
causes her to return to school, the difficulties faced during her school and
professional training, and what reasons Encouraged to re-study. Based on these
factors, the study aims to analyze concepts of youth and adult education and
Solidary Economy based on the life story narrated by a formar EJA student from the
city of Cuité-PB. The study also allows to evaluate if the work developed has the
potential for the development of a Solidary Economy. Thus, it is approached, based
on the narrated history, that the interviewee has diverse but striking characteristics,
such as the desire to continue studies, even in the face of the problems faced, such
as low financiai resources, gestation and others. With regard to the work it carries
out, we realize that it does not meet some principies of Solidarity Economy, such as
self-management and democracy.
