Resumo:
The new socioeconomic activities are gaining space in front of the financiai capitalism that
still govems the globalized world, emphasizing that the solidarity economy advocates the
essence of cooperatives and associations, and is therefore understood as a new financiai
system, since the solidarity economy unlike capitalism, prioritize the consumption and
distribution of capital through the enhancement of the human being and not just the money.
Therefore, the present work has the objective of identifying how to give commercialization of
the agricultura! products of the Association of Farmers and Fruit Growers of New Forest
(AFRUNOF), in the scope of solidarity economy. In addition to verifying the
commercialization of the products by the farmers, as well as understanding the socio-
economic conditions o f these associares, to ascertain the democratic aspects o f the association
and to highlight the cultural partner aspects o f the same. The socioeconomic research, object
of this monographic work, was carried out in the mentioned association, located in the
municipality ofNew Forest, Curimataú region, state of Paraíba, is a civil association, without
economic ends, of responsibilities of all 33 associares. The results obtained with this study
show that it was possible to identify how the cornmcrcialization o f the agricultura! products
coming from the association in question, in the ambit of the solidarity economy, occurs. In
addition, it was possible to understand the socio-economic conditions o f the members, as well
as to the verification o f the democratic aspects o f this group, concomitantly evidenced by the
associates' cultural aspects. Therefore, the philosophical bases in solidarity economy is indeed
observable in the group studied, since, this study corroborates as a possible worldwide
solution to the problems coming from fmancial capitalism.
