Abstract:
History always has something to reveal and with technical and technological education
it could n‟t be different. The Agrotécnica School Sousa Federate underwent numerous
challenges, which brought growth and development to a region, thus, this study set out
to tell this trajectory using research sources, like the book: The time scanned by
Francisco Cicupira de Andrade Filho, launched in 2017 by the author's edition in Sousa-
Paraíba, and through reports from people indirectly involved. The objective was to
analyze the practices that led the Agrotécnica School Sousa Federate to the
socioeconomic development of the region. Bibliographic research was used as
methodology and the results were displayed through a cloud of ideas presented in texts
and interviews carried out by a semi-structured instrument. The result pointed out two
categories: Reflecting on technical school management; and Technical training. These,
when analyzed, point to the social recognition of the importance of School in the
municipality and in people's lives in a personal and professional way, of the challenges
experienced, and of the important role of a prepared and engaged management.
