Resumo:
Distributed generation market, especially photovoltaic solar energy, has experienced a
significant growth, in latest years, mainly due to the price reduction of photovoltaic panels
and frequency inverters. The incentives provided by the government, as the exemption of
ICMS on photovoltaic solar generation kits, associated with the increasing value of the cost of
electricity supplied by the concessionaires are also factors that contributed to the
popularization of this modality of energy generation. Therefore, in an increasingly developing
market niche and with enough favorable conditions to grow it becomes essential for an
electrical engineer to have practical and theoretical knowledge in the field. This work briefly
and concisely summarizes the activities that were carried out during the internship period at
the company SolGera Energia Solar, headquartered in the city of Patos, Paraíba, describing
the details of each activity, to demonstrate its importance for the personal and above all
professional development of the trainee. Leading the reader to observe the day-to-day
development of distributed generation projects from conception to deployment.
