Resumen:
This paper approaches the experience of Solidarity Economy taken to a group of
rune women líving in the Serra do Bombocadinho community, a rural area of the
municipality of Cuité I PB. Today they constitute the solidarity economic enterprise
"Stamparia Solidária Bombocadinho", which is a new initiative in the community,
introduced by a work of convincing presenting the principies of this new economy:
Cooperation, Self-management, Economíc Action, Sustainability, Solidarity, among
others. The Education of Youths and Adults as reinforcement in this mission, since the
pedagogy of this modality of education is focused on the search for the insertion ( or
reinsertion) o f the individual, very similar to the philosophy of solidarity groups, that seek
to value the initial knowledge and the 1ife experience , Contributing decisively to this new
form of collective work. The women are in different age groups and have different leveis
of schooling, however tbey think similar and seek to add efforts to achieve the enterprise,
deciding in common agreement that they intend to work in the production of handicrafts
and customization of parts by the technique o f stamping. The stamping activity is new to
most members, we suggest some practica1 activities aimed at introducing the technique. In
this way, we adopted the methodology of action research, commonly used in groups of
solidarity economy for allowing greater interaction between researcher and the reality of
the group now object of study. After a bibliographical research we elaborated a plan of
actions aiming to contribute of practica1 form in the reality of those women. Then the
information was collected through the questionnaires, photographic records, lesson plans,
frequency lists, etc. That contributed to describe the performance achieved by the
enterprise after twenty meetings. Finally, we present the results partially achieved and,
finally, some perspectives of the group. This group is being monitored continuously by the
Incubadora Universitária de Empreendimentos Econômicos Solidários do Centro de
Educação e Saúde - rNCOSOL - CESIUFCG, which observes the characteristics,
difficulties and potentialities, then makes a diagnosis that results in the elaboration of an
action plan Specific to the enterprise.
