Resumo:
The study addresses the relationship between family and school focusing on the
Implications in the teachinglearning process, taking into consideration the difficulties
found in this relationship for the educational development of the child. Therefore, it was
sought to analyze the influence of family and school interaction on the development of
learning in children's education; Reflect the family and school relationship in the
educational process; Identify problems in children's learning, caused in the absence of
family and school interaction; To point out aspects that lead the family not to interact
with their functions as an integral part of the school. The locus chosen for the
investigation was two schools of the public school, one of the municipality of São João
do Rio do Peixe and another of Poço José de Moura PB. The subjects interviewed
were two teachers of Early Childhood Education and two mothers. The research was
developed through a semistructured interview, adopting a qualitative approach, with
the purpose of seeking answers to the established objectives. The interviews were
recorded and the speeches were transcribed in full for the data analysis process. The
results show that both the family and the school are aware of the need for such a
partnership for an effective and immediate educational development, but many families
end up delegating total responsibility for their children's education to school and use
the lack of time because of work. Therefore, it is up to the school to seek to awaken in
the family the interest in being present in the education of their children through
activities that lead to reflection on the importance of this relationship in an active
process for children's school success.
