O estudo da ortografia numa perspectiva histórica: abordagens no livro didático de língua portuguesa do 6º Ano do Ensino Fundamental II.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the textbook Portuguese Languages, by authors Willian Roberto Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães, from the 6th grade of elementary school II on orthography. For this we have as general objective to analyze the necessity of a contextualized approach to the teaching of spelling, from the historical evolution of the language and as specific objectives to study the evolution of the Portuguese language from Latin, to understand how the evolutionary process of spelling happened. Portuguese, after the arrival of the Romans to the Iberian Peninsula and to propose possibilities of contextualization on the subject in the classroom. We deepened our knowledge of the evolution and historical context in which it occurred and how the change from Latin to GalicianPortuguese and, later, to Portuguese. Whereas among the most important interactional means in the world today is language, because without it there is no plausible communication between peoples. Consequently, according to our reflections, with the object analyzed we have been able to significantly expand the learning of spelling. It is classified as a bibliographical, descriptive research of qualitative analysis. For the accomplishment of the research we based in Assis (2011), Carvalho and Nascimento (1981) among others. Given the analysis of the textbook we found that there is a need to contextualize the teaching of spelling considering the historical process of the Portuguese language for a more effective learning.
