Résumé:
This report describes the main activities performed by the student Samuel de Melo
Barros, from the electrical engineering undergraduate course, who interned at the company
Acumuladores Moura S.A - Unit 08, located in the city of Belo Jardim - PE, 180 km from
the capital Recife. In the Industrial Engineering sector, where the activities were performed,
it was possible to use knowledge acquired during the Electrical Engineering course in
the application in industry. The productive sector was known in its various segments of
automotive batteries, motorcycles and vehicles with electric traction. The daily practical
experience during the internship period contributed significantly to professional training,
acting as support to industrial engineering and performing, among several functions:
the elaboration and modification of documents and contracting scopes, the search for
opportunities that can reduce costs and / or increase profits and productivity, projects for
introducing new equipment to the factory, monitoring the execution of executive projects,
using the WCM methodology and applying tools such as PDCA, control of master plan
indicators and preparation of management reports, support in the financial control of the
projects, adapting them to the needs required for the product and the limitations imposed
by the productive environment, in addition to guaranteeing the excellence of the product
quality, in order to satisfy the customer.
