Résumé:
The idea of communication through the power grid has a long history of development.
However, despite having interesting features, this technology known as Power-line Communication
(PLC), is not well explored on the national scene, especially in home applications,
which is undergoing constant advances related to the Internet of Things (IoT).
Thus, it is proposed in this work a fully functional hardware module, aimed at the development
of applications for IoT, with the ability to communicate over the power grid and
to interface with several available communication standards, such as I²C, SPI, UART and
USB. For this purpose, this module has a ST7538Q modem, operating in Narrowband
and with a transmission rate of 4800bps, in addition to a microcontroller responsible for
controlling the use of the PLC modem and managing communication between modules.
