Résumé:
The main objective of control systems is to maximize proĄts by increasing productivity.
However, control systems will deteriorate over time, and consequently productivity is
afected. Thus, it is necessary to carry out periodic maintenance on the control systems
to maintain the quality of the processes. In order to change the practice of maintaining
control in the process industries, from scheduled or reactive to anticipatory, centered
on the continuous assessment and forecast of the degradation of the performance of the
control systems, diferent loop assessment techniques are studied in this work, to assist in
the diagnosis of the main control problems. Most of the techniques studied in this work
were developed from the theory of optimal prediction and the minimum variance control,
and were implemented in the evaluation software developed during this work.
