Résumé:
This work presents the design of an antenna with a bioinspired structure in the geometry
of the mulberry leaf for applications in wireless communication systems. Using the Gielis
superformula, a multiband antenna was optimized using the patch addition technique.
After simulations, it was found that the projected bioinspired antenna operates in the
range of 1.1 to 6.69 GHz. In 4G / LTE at 1.8 and 2.6 GHz, S11 was obtained equivalent
to -11.48 and -14.49 dB, respectively, and gains of 4.21 and 4.41 dBi, respectively. In 5G
at 3.5 GHz, S11 was obtained, equivalent to -22.77 dB and gain of 5.29 dBi.
