Resumo:
From the historical series of climatic variables average, maximum and minimum temperature and relative air humidity collected in six meteorological stations was aimed at in this work, carry out the bioclimatic zoning and thus identify the comfort conditions for quails in the 5th week of life and bos indicus heifers, comparing the data collected with the results scientific research in the rainy and dry seasons of the state of Paraíba. starting from the data of the historical series, spatial distribution maps for the periods were elaborated. Concludes that the quails would be in favorable conditions in the Zona da Mata mesoregion, in the Borborema in transition with the Agreste and Sertão in the dry season and, in the rainy season in the Sertão, Borborema and Zona da Mata. The other mesoregions would need small adjustments to minimize heat stress, such as adequacy of population density, cooling of drinking water and use of lanterns. In addition, in order to minimize the cold one could use the management of curtains and choose to use impermeable materials in the curtains and the roof of the shed. The breeding of heifers would be viable in all mesoregions of the state in both periods, requiring minor corrective measures, such as use. natural shading or shades for grazing animals and use of facilities with wide openings, facilitating natural ventilation, water spraying on the roof and
surrounding afforestation for animals in confinement.
