Resumen:
The aim of this work is to evaluate the use of national additives in the development of water based drilling fluids to oil well perforation, which can be applied under high temperature and pressure. It was developed thirty six formulations with the following
additives: viscositying, reducer of filtered, controller of pH, inhibitors of hydrated clays, anti-foaming, bactericide, lubricant and sealant. The additives were characterized by DSC. The fluids were prepared according to the field practice and consist in to adding to water the additives under constant stirring. After 24 h it was done estimated the rheological behavior and properties, such as, filtration and lubricity of the developed fluids. From thirty six d eveloped formulations, eight was selected with the best results in comparison with standard fluids and submitted to aging in roller oven for 16 hours in the temperatures of ≈ 38 oC (100 oF), ≈ 66 oC (150 oF) and ≈ 93 oC (200 oF). These formulations were evaluated in relation to the rheological parameters at ≈ 49 oC (120oF). The lubricity coefficient and filtered volume had been determined (API and HPHT). The results have showed that water based drilling fluids had been developed with success formulated with national additives with performance close and in some cases superior to the Standard fluids. The excellent results also gotten indicate that the developed drilling fluids are stable
in high temperatures and pressure and can be used in well perforation that reaches temperatures of until ≈ 93 oC (200 oF).
