Resumen:
Rural Settlements are agricultural production units set up to reorder land use for landless or landless rural workers. In this sense, this policy aims at mitigating social conflicts in the
countryside, but it is somewhat inefficient. The work consists of productive and environmental analysis of the Todos os Santos settlement in the municipality of Canindé, CE. The objective was the field research that was given by an information bank of the NGO CACTUS - Support Center for the Sustainable Development of the Semi-Arid, which provides advice to INCRA through the agreement 08000/2015. This information was collected through a questionnaire structured with objective questions in the social, environmental, productive and cultural area. Through these questions the socioeconomic profile, production, productivity, agricultural management, sanitary management, perception and environmental impacts were identified. It is concluded that even with some practices of pollution and environmental degradation, the families of the All Saints Settlement are inserted in the process of agroecological transition through agricultural practices such as productive backyards, forage palm cultivation, use of natural pesticides, among others.
