Resumen:
Sexuality is a topic that is part of the construction of the subject, but is still considered
a difficult and complex issue for some people. The research then debate issues
surrounding the Education and Sexuality theme. Thus, the work has as main
objective to analyze the conceptions of the students who are at the end of the
Pedagogy course CPF / UFCG on sexuality. Therefore, we performed a pickup data
subject thirteen of the Federal University of Campina Grande. This is a qualitative
study that sought to interpret concepts and explain concepts of some social groups.
Furthermore, this research can be classified as a field research. The instrument used
was a questionnaire containing seven questions. In the construction of the theoretical
framework, we tried to emphasize the perspective that sexuality is innate but is
strongly influenced and influencer of the social environment of each subject. In this
part, we discussed the various transformations and deep changes that influence the
thoughts and ideas of all mankind. Continuing, we highlight the concepts related to
the theme of sexuality, emphasizing sexuality in view of social constructivism Guacira
Lopes Louro (2013), Maria Luiza Heilbonr (2002), León (2011), Loiola (2009)
Figueiró (2006), Stearns (2010), Flores (2004), among others. These authors argue
that sexuality is socially constructed by culture and context of each subject. The last
point of reference is a discussion of sexuality and school at this point is reflected in
the open discussion space for sexuality in schools, and the fact that they still
emphasize just this subject, perhaps for lack of knowledge. The data presented are in
the form of tables and analyzed descriptively. Based on the reference and from the
data analyzed, it was noticed that there is a difficulty of the subjects, to talk about
sexuality, their concepts are not in a perspective of social construction. They report
that they feel a lack of further discussion on the theme of the course in question.
Finally the conclusion, it was concluded that there is a big taboo by the majority of
the subjects interviewed about the subject and that the subjects involved in the
research do not feel prepared to address sexuality in schools.
