Resumo:
The use of chicken bed is a viable alternative for the production of seedlings, especially when it comes to the reduction of expenses with chemical fertilizer. In this way, the levels of chicken litter in the production of Moringa oleifera seedlings were objectified. The
experiment was developed Center of Agri-Food Science and Technology of the Federal
University of Campina Grande, Campus Pombal-PB. A randomized complete block design
was used in a 4 x 5 factorial scheme, using four chicken litter doses (0.0, 40.0, 80.0 and 120 g.dm3) and five evaluation periods (20; 40, 60, 80 and 100 days after emergence) with 4 replicates. The chicken bed favors the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves. The dose of 80 g.dm-3 was more adequate for the growth of Moringa plants and dry phytomass production. The IQD is superior when the plants are fertilized with chicken bed .
