Abstract:
The water-cooler is considered one of the most nutritious plants of the world, that presents multiple uses, mainly as for the human and medicinal feeding. For the obtaining of more vigorous seedlings and with better stand after the planting in the field is done necessary the use of the practice of the manuring in the production phase, tends in view, mainly, the largest readiness of N and P for the initial growth of the seedlings. The experiment was driven in conditions of plastic tunnel in the Center of Sciences and Food Technology of the Federal University of Campina Grande, UFCG, Dovecote-PB, with the objective of evaluating the effect of levels of organic fertilization in the growth and initial development of the culture of the water-cooler (Water-cooler oleifera Lam.). The design was used in blocks randomized, with the treatments composed of four levels of organic fertilization (107,0; 215,0; 430,0 and 860,0 g for vase), with five repetitions. They were appraised to the thirty and sixty days after the emergency (DAE) the following variables: i) diameter of the stem (mm), ii) length of the main (cm) root, iii) height of plants (cm), iv) fresh mass of the aerial part, and, v) fresh mass of root, I saw) mass dries of the aerial part - MSPA, vii) mass dries of root - MSR, viii) total fresh mass - MFT, ix) mass total drought - MST and, x) reason leaves aerial / root - RPAR. The levels of organic fertilization influenced the growth and initial development of the water-cooler seedlings significantly, where increment of MSPA, MSR, was observed MFT, MST and RPAR to 30 60DAE, tends as better treatment the level of 430,0 g.vase -1. The application of the growing levels of organic fertilization influenced significantly all the variables related to the growth and development of the culture of M. oleifera. With the elevation of the manure levels added to the soil, an increment was observed in the variables analyzed until the level of 430,0 g by vase applied for all of the appraised parameters in comparison with the other studied treatments. Therefore, the amount of 430,0 g for vase to be applied alternatively instead of fertilizers high chemical cost, promoting improvement at the same time in the properties of the soil and in the absorption of nutrients for the culture of the water-cooler. The different levels of organic fertilization influenced in the growth and production of seedlings of watercooler of good quality.
