Resumo:
Introduction: The pandemic scenario imposed a harsh social distance on us, which made us abdicate
support networks, and this new situation led to changes in the multiple roles
accumulated by the female figure. Thus, it generated numerous questions about the management
the division of time between professional, maternal and domestic responsibilities. Goal:
Given the relevance of the impacts caused by social isolation during the pandemic,
this work aims to identify, in the light of national and international literature, the possible
factors that influence the emotional burden of mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: Integrative review performed in Lilacs, Medline and BDENF databases and in the database
SciVerse Scopus data with studies from 2020 to 2021, using the Statement checklist
for Reporting Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses of Study (PRISMA) and level assessment
of evidence. Results: The sample consisted of 10 articles, from a universe of 164, being
these published in 9 journals, level of evidence IV Only the surveys that responded to the
guiding question were selected. Conclusion: More research is needed about the
theme in order to investigate the effects of social isolation in the context of parenting,
in order to list the possible protective factors for maternal mental health in the pandemic and post-
COVID-19 pandemic.
