Resumo:
The teaching of exact sciences in Brazil still faces several barriers, which are evident in the
schools, in the classroom, mainly in the subject of chemistry where students
demonstrate to have a lot of difficulty in the learning process. Chemistry is a science
transversal and interdisciplinary, and for this reason there is great resistance on the part of
of students in wanting to learn. Therefore, it is necessary to seek and use
new methodologies and didactics capable of helping students to overcome such barriers
impose on the process of learning chemistry. Given the above, this work has
as objective the elaboration of a manual of experiments during the regency in the
pedagogical residency in chemistry, which allows for the possibility of more practical classes
contextualized using low cost and easily accessible material, which will
provide more interactive and attractive classes, thus arousing the interest of
students in learning the discipline. The construction of this manual went through a few steps
so that it could be used in the classroom. The manual was developed in the city of
Cuité-PB at the Orlando Venâncio dos Santos Integral Citizen School. Prepared by the team
of residents of the Pedagogical Residency Program in partnership with UFCG-CES and
used in the discipline of experimental practices. Emphasizing the importance that the
use of methodologies that employ teaching resources, in fact ennobles the
teaching and learning process of students.
