Résumé:
The civil construction industry has become a very competitive area and, consequently, with increasingly demanding customers, in terms of deadlines, cost and product quality. As a result, companies began to invest heavily in planning and controlling the schedule, in order to avoid delays and extra costs. The main objective of the research was to analyze the control of methods and techniques carried out during the execution of the work of a water supply system, which enables delivery within the pre-established deadline. The main causes of delay in the work were the lack of forecast of weather conditions, lack of prior study of the characteristics and adversities of the site, poor reading of projects, poor communication by the team, lack of forecast of machinery problems, and especially the lack of implementation of the PDCA cycle (Plan, Perform, Check and Act).
