Abstract:
The present work consists of a state of the art of academic research, specifically of course completion papers (TCC), on the theme of ethnic-racial issues, produced in the Pedagogy course, of the U of Education and Education Unit of Teachers (CFP) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) during the decade of 2010 to 2020. For this study, an analysis of a total of twenty was carried out(20) course conclusion works, deposited in the digital library of theses and dissertations (UFCG). Through reading and analysis of summaries presented in TCC’s, using as theoreticalmetomethodological framework formulations on content analysis by Bardin(2008), we identified the themes addressed by the researches, their theoretical and methodological approaches, and general characteristics about the productions. This work has a methodology of qualitative and quantitative character, conceptualizing and deepening the discussions about the research modality called by the literature as "State of the Art" according to Romanowski (2006), Ferreira (2002) and Gatti (2010). To discuss racial relations within the scope of the university, we used as a theoretical contribution: Gomes (2005; 2018), Silva (2003; 2018). Here, we present the landscape of ethnic-racial discussions held in recent years within the scope of the UAE/CFP/UFCG, performing a retrospective, situating and indicating to future researchers the path taken and the research to be completed.
