Resumen:
In this work, entitled: Rural education - the community and the school environment, was
addressed rural education, the Active School Program, the analysis of interview and
quiz. Rural education is understood as an educational movement that
understands countryside and city as two unique parts that depend on each other. since 1930
has been trying to assert itself and adapt/transform the peculiar reality of the field, however, it has not
has satisfactorily favored in order to raise the education of the subjects, their culture and
your standard of living. For that, this work aims to analyze how to give to
participation of parents in the rural school, recovering the subjects' historical knowledge
the field and promote interaction between community and school. To reach these points were
interviews were carried out with parents, and questionnaires with students, in addition to the survey.
