Résumé:
The crimes that result in homicides over the years have been increasing, making victims and destroying families, the criminal processes are very rich in information about these crimes and, based on them, they seek to understand the motivations behind these crimes that result in homicides. Daily we see or read in newspapers reports on crimes that in recent years have had an unrestrained increase in all Brazilian states, through this finding this study aims to address the crimes that occurred in the municipality of Barro - CE between the decades of 1948 to 1957 which was the period that has the highest number of homicides registered in the city. In the light of a theoretical framework based on social history and the interface with political history, we will seek to emphasize the motivations that led the accused to practice them. The general objective of the research is to understand the practice and nature of these crimes and their relationship with social inequality. As specific objectives, we seek to draw a demonstrative framework of crimes in their forms and justifications according to the testimonies and procedural records that constituted the main source of research based on a methodology of critical and qualitative analysis of the data and information available there.
