Resumen:
Grammar teaching is subject of permanent discussion, since prescriptive grammar is the choice of most elementary schools. In this sense, this research aims to propose a dynamic strategy for the study of adjective subordinate clauses. To achieve it, we have developed a theoretical basis for grammatical studies, with an emphasis on adjective subordinate clauses; we discuss working with grammar in the classroom based on reflections on the descriptive approach and we have developed a game as an intervention proposal for the study of adjective subordinate clauses. Therefore, our theoretical basis on grammar is descriptive and based on the reflections by Perini (2010) and Sautchuk (2010); about the use of games at school, our research is based on studies by Almeida (2013). We follow the methodology of applied bibliographic research with a qualitative approach. As a result of this research, we have an intervention proposal for teaching subordinate adjective clauses in 9th grade of elementary school classes with an adaptation of the board game whose pieces are similar to those of a traditional board.
