Working with linguistic analysis in the pandemic period is the main objective of this research. In this context, new technologies enter, considering that the teaching modality in this period was the remote one that is carried out through these technologies. In this sense, the general objective is to verify how the work with linguistic analysis has been developed in the context of the remote teaching modality at the Elementary School level II in Aurora-CE, in comparison with the face-to-face teaching. In order to reach it, we discuss the concepts of linguistic analysis, with an emphasis on mediation in the classroom; we also describe how linguistic analysis practices occur in remote and face-to-face teaching modalities, and we have compared the forms of linguistic analysis carried out in both modalities. Therefore, we have based ourselves on studies by Antunes (2007), Bezerra and Reinaldo (2020) on linguistic analysis, as well as on the statements by Travaglia (2003) on grammar and its use in schools. Geraldi's conceptions of language and language (1997) were also used. The research field was the town of Aurora-CE, and the collaborators were six Portuguese language teachers from public and private schools, with whom we conducted an interview. After analyzing the data, we reached the following results: the study with linguistic analysis is underway, although the teachers had initial difficulties in adapting to the remote modality; distance makes it difficult to know the students' difficulties, although a greater role in the learning of linguistic analysis was perceived. It was also noticed a lag in this study in remote teaching in relation to face-to-face and they say that they were going to continue to use those technologies in their classes.
