Resumen:
A language’s grammar has always been seen as difficult. It is important that, given that reality, we need strategies to attract students to engage themselves with that knowledge with pleasure. And for that, we have a range of educational or even adaptable to education games. In this sense, this work aims to propose a grammar game, with emphasis on Portuguese verbal and nominal regency. For that, we discuss grammatical rules, highlighting the Portuguese verbal and nominal regency; we debate Portuguese teaching strategies, with emphasis on linguistic competence through classroom games and we developed a game to study grammar, focusing on Portuguese verbal and nominal regency. This research is based on the theoretical contributions of Travaglia (2009); Lima (2011); Oliveira (2010); Antunes (2007), which together contribute to studies and reflections on Portuguese grammar teaching in different perspectives, its difficulties and applicability in the classroom. In addition to mentioned authors, we also have some studies by Almeida Santos (2012, 2013); Almeida de Nunes (2007); Kishimoto (2007); Santos (1997) and Fardo (2013) that address issues related to games and gamification inserted in teaching and that favor a better development of students' skills and competences, in addition to the discussions included in the BNCC (2018). For the development of this research, the methodology used was bibliographical with a qualitative approach of an applied nature. As a result of this research, we developed a grammar game, which is an adaptation of a dominoes game, aimed at 9th grade Elementary School classes.
