Resumen:
This research aims at analyzing the contents of the trinomial GIS, Digital Cartography and Remote
Sensing within the textbooks by basic education of Campina Grande. Where three collections was chosen
to do the analysis. Respectively, the project Araribá (2013), collective work whose managing editor,
Fernando Carlo Vedovate, the collection society and everyday Geography: Fundamentals of geographic
space (2012), authored by professors José Francisco Bigotto, Márcio Martins Abondanza and Mary Adailza
Albuquerque and lastly Collection XXI-century Geography and participation (2009), the authors: Celso
Antunes, Maria do Carmo Pereira and Maria Inês Vieira. Which has resulted in the finding that the
aforementioned triad is not present correctly in textbooks.
