Currently education has been trying to improve every day more , using various technological resources for obtaining success in systematic knowledge . Yet what we see is a very high failure rate and exclusion at all levels and types of education , especially when students are subjected to ESMS ( National High School Exam ) . Faced with this situation the question arises , why so much improvement in education and lack of knowledge, I stopped to prepare this work with the theme PROCESS OF TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY AS MEANINGFUL LEARNING , with the aim of analyzing the dichotomy between theory and practice since the geography is an essential curriculum content to life of human beings and what we see in all schools , is that the main focus is around the curricular components of English Language and Mathematics as other curricular components had less importance . For realization of the methodology questionnaires were administered to the students in the 9th grade of elementary school in EEEFM Carlota Barrier Sand -PB , in order to find out whether the teaching of geography generates meaningful learning . , Also made the data analysis and workshops for students to develop activities significantly to your life . It follows therefore that the school should always work significantly to the student's life , with actions to release and give wings, leaving aside the idea that it is only related to the syllabus that need to be tested through tests and assignments .
