This research relates an experience with literary reading in classroom working with poems
whose main theme is the rain. It made use of a corpus of forty, which constitute an anthology with texts written by poets and poetess from different places and times. The experiment took place in a first-grade class from Felipe Tiago Gomes State School, located in Picuí, backcountry of Paraíba state. This work had as objective investigate first grade high school students’feedback of this poems. Therefore, we proposed to investigate: How was the reception/relationship between reality of the participants and poems presented in classroom? As a theoretical basis, was used considerations by Jakobson (1978), Adorno (2003), Bosi (2000), Staiger (1975), among others, about lyric poetry; Aguiar and Bordini (1988) gave support to understand teaching reception method; Gallo (2016) and Boberg (2008) gave support concerning to the rhizomatic method. We worked, on experiment’s reflection, with three fundamental categories from aesthetic enjoyment by Jauss (1979): poiesis, aisthesis e katharsis. Also, we made use of observations from Rouxel (2013), which comments about the importance of subjective reading in the school. Results from this research reveal that, starting with work with reading in classroom, have had an approximation in relation to poetic text by students. An
Evolution was noticed as poems were brought to the meetings. Using a method involving text x lector interaction, in by the student is considered an individual that can understand, discuss and participate by creation of new meanings. This intervention becomes a space where students could approach the literary object by a less plastered and more intimate way.
