Resumen:
Campina Grande City has been originated from several sociospatial transformations, including commercial dynamics from the ranchers, evolving to the firsts public trading markets. These places has given to the city some regional highlight at Paraíba’s agreste, and maximized its influence. But, we wonder if these spatial interrelations, so close to Paraíba’s students daily life, has been properly studied at Geography teaching. Facing the question, this work proposed the assessment of sociospatial dynamics from public trading markets at Campina Grande City, specifically at Malvinas Public Market, checking how young school students interact with it through fieldwork, when they study geography. To perform the work, we used participatory research, where the subject and the object were mutually related, because students and researcher were active agents in the process. At this context, the fieldwork became quite important to students geographic conceptualization, featuring the perception of landscape, place and space. Thus, this tool has helped out as much empirical research as construction of knowledge of students.
