Resumo:
The company AeC Contact Center, settled in 2012 in Campina Grande -PB in Cruzeiro
neighborhood in order to obtain higher profits and tax advantages, as well as abundant and
cheap hand labor, among other attractions. After installation of the company, increased the
flow of people from other neighborhoods and surrounding towns of Campina Grande. This
movement also generates the coming of people from more distant places, forcing these to seek
places of residence in the vicinity of the workplace. After installation of the company, the
routes of bus lines towards neighborhood-center increased in place to meet the new demand
of people, as now there would be a new stream on site, starting with the company's workers
would use this public transport daily. The process of verticalization of the neighborhood has
been constant since 2012 which is crisp new construction and housing, because the demand
for property in place is constant. New houses were built for sale and rental, new residents
settled in the neighborhood, mostly employees of the company. This research analyzes a
spatial transformation that took place in a short time, causing the arrival of AeC Company
contributes to the growth of the entire neighborhood, whether economic growth is population
growth. Thus, we evaluate positively this growth, since it contributes to the economic
development of the city of Campina Grande.
