Résumé:
The Sugar Loaf district, in the municipality of Taquaritinga do Norte, is part of the productive cluster of clothing of Wasteland of Pernambuco and has in its socio-spatial interrelationships broad influences of that activity. As the teaching of Geography is concerned to contribute to the reading of the world, we began to ask how the geographic discipline is addressing these issues in the classroom. Therefore, this project has the main objective to verify how the construction of geographical knowledge of students in
Elementary School 7th grade occurs from the use of some languages, through field study in Sugar Loaf district, Taquaritinga do Norte/ PE. For this, we use qualitative research, which includes further interpretation of reality, specifically through participant observation with the use of a field of study, from analysis of the various languages used in teaching geography. In this perspective, the construction of space and landscape concepts occurred individually, as pointed out by Vigotski (1988), and need to continue with the pedagogical work for the possibility of advancement of learning, as the use of languages and the field study were not sufficient to ensure these conceptualizations. Hence, we consider necessary an extension activity, operationalized after the end of the research, to contribute to the advancement of conceptualizations of the students and educational formation of geography teacher.
