Resumo:
The search for social and spatial development corresponds to one of the goals in various segments of the society, especially those responsible for territorial development. In this perspective, tourism is emerging as an alternative for enabling greater social inclusion arising from economic development. Thus, this study sought to identify alternatives that facilitate a more effective participation of the county of Fagundes in the production of the touristic space in Campina Grande city micro-region. In addition, we intend to, more specifically, identify the main Fagundes touristic objects observing its history and social importance, detect possible Fagundes inclusion strategies in the touristic itinerary of Campina Grande city, proposing itineraries that can be used as tourism alternative. For this, we use the method and techniques of qualitative research, using interviews with focus groups as the main procedures and analysis of the collective subject discourse. Thus, the results show the Fagundes landscape elements that have the potential to promote the inclusion of the city in the production of the touristic space of the city of Campina Grande.
