Resumen:
This article aims to analyze the spatial dynamics of the Cristiano Lauritzen Passenger Bus Terminal, located in the downtown area of Campina Grande. In this research, we highlight its role for the populations of the city, as well as for the populations of surrounding municipalities; it also sought to know its current structure and its sociospatial dynamics. For the construction of the research, the quantitative and qualitative method was used. We carried out a bibliographic review, elaboration and application of questionnaires with traders who work in the mentioned space, in addition to photographic records. The intense economic dynamics of this space are due, above all, to its location in the central area of the city, an area of constant flows of passengers, transport and goods. Such dynamism explains the numerous presence of landmarks (commercial establishments) in this space. At the end of this study, we found that this space constitutes, at the same time, a dynamic space of popular economy and a space of social resistance.
