Resumo:
This work aims to discuss the territories and territorialities of the Assembly of God (AD), which
is currently considered a Pentecostal religious denomination with the most faithful in Brazil.
Thus, it was necessary to carry out a bibliographical research on the history of the rise of ADs,
which points out the power and territoriality used to reach its current position, highlighting its
Pentecostal doctrine and its uses and customs. The territory operates as a support to understand
what power relations exist within the organization, which through its network territory, a sober
council in several locations where it sometimes presents itself as the only option for the
evangelical "middle", it is inserted in the most diverse locations. With this in mind, the survey
of data on ADs through the field study in the Catolé District of Boa Vista, Campina Grande-
PB, which, through the case study, reveals how the Assembly of God functions territorially in
small localities. From the historical and territorial context of the ADs, we perceive their
influence, making it necessary another note on the power of religion, which affects the various
spheres of life of believers or not, making it necessary to frequently study the power exercised
by such associations.
