Résumé:
The present monographic work analyses the use of new technologies as didactic
resource to geography teaching in elementary school II of State School Professor
Cardoso – Alagoa Nova – PB. To his elaboration, it based on bibliographic searches in
authors of area of Geography and Education. Besides, also used questionnaires and
classrooms observations to empirical data obtaining. Moreover, it is a study of a case
based on fundamentals of qualitative research, because of that, does not seek to
generalize. It was possible verify with the research that the school, even offering
support to the teachers in what is possible, still suffer with lack of alternatives of new
technologies and that the teachers develop ways to interact with these new didactic
resources to the development of learning of theirs students, although the great
difficulties faced, as example as the lack of structure that contemplates such technology
and the formation of Geography teachers to utilize this in their daily life teaching. In
what refers to students, it highlighted that few dominate the basic conceptual and
procedural notions that denote the use of new technologies as aid to the comprehension
of themes treated in Geography classes in the level of teaching researched.
